Re: Link for gas and water jerry cans
Here's another link to a cheaper ebay source: http://www.ebay.com/itm/20L-NATO-Style- ... a1&vxp=mtr
FYI, these used to be DOT approved, painted red, and sold locally here through Farm & Fleet stores (and others, I assume). When the new DOT standards went into effect, they no longer sold them. However others have begun to sell them in different colors.
The ones I bought can not use the Pinz nozzle however, which is a big bummer because the Pinz nozzle empties the can MUCH faster than the nozzle that comes with these cans. I think one could modify the can to take the Pinz spout, but I didn't try yet. The problem is with the breather tube not fitting the can.
Either way, they are better than the new style DOT approved cans with the stupid-people spout valve, IMHO.

The small metal 5L Jerry cans fit nicely in the Pinzgauer storage box.
