Isn't it the same as from the volvo cars essentially?

There is a nice electronic distributor option - see the 123 ignition system:

I have one of these on a citroen 2cv powered vehicle and it seems to be a very good product.

Yes,but......there are at least three types with points (1970-1974) ,called Bosch and they said that they hadn't supported part number 0231305058 (Volvo 461668) since 1996. None of the rebuilders that I have found have any, or even have a reference.
Yes, the 123 seems a nice unit, but out of the budget right now.
