Re: New host and new $$ problem. PLEASE READ EVERYONE

Donation inbound! C'mon guys. this forum is very valuable to all of us. Even if we don't post frequently, the "library" of information stored in the tech files is of great value.

Re: Help with shifter removal

Thanks! It looks straight forward but that pin will not budge. One would think the plastic shim means it is a little loose. I thought maybe it was tapered but the drawing does not imply that.

Help with shifter removal

I need help. I am helping a friend with his 710m and we need to remove the shifter. We can not get the "shifter shaft" removed. This is Group: 02-30-03 in the diagram. The roll pin, Group 02-30-02, has been removed. We really don't see a plastic bushing, Group: 02-30-01. We have tried to punch this ...

Re: Sound Control: General theory and Pinz specific issues.

I used a product called "BedRug". it is a synthetic carpet product with about 3/4" of foam padding sold as custom truck bed inserts. However, the company sells, or sold, the sheet good product in 10ft lengths. I just made my own pattern. It can easily be removed for inspection of the floor or drying ...

Re: Circuit #1

Many of you probably know this but that plug was used to attach the 24v generator to the 710k for radio operation when parked. It also has a hidden fuse link in the wire to it housed in that cone.

Re: Pinzssi?

My PinzSSI is fantastic and solved a lot of problems I was experiencing with the pertronix system installed in my 1975 710K. High dollar but well worth it in my opinion. However nothing mechanical lasts forever and I know one day it will have a problem. At that time, I will feel very abandoned given ...

I did not have a problem in Indiana but it did take them a while to figure out what to call it.

I concur with Mr. Zero but agree the picture is a bit misleading.

Wow! That is scary cheap. The Webastos have gone up crazy in price. I still have not purchased one but should have when I first started thinking about it.

Re: 710K front antenna tubes (find or replicate)

It is good to know that the mast from SAV is in good condition and functions well. I have been very hesitant to spend that kind of money with the thought of perhaps having to completely refurbish it. Weight way out in the front without all of the original heavy generator, batteries and other ...
