Locker Indicator Switches
Can anyone tell me where I can find the location of each of the switches for the locker indicator lights? My 4WD indicator light won't stay on and I already cleaned up the light socket and put in a new bulb. Thought it might be the switch but not sure where it is.
Thanks,
Paul

It's in front of the Hi/Low gear box on the drivers side of the main frame tube, you'll find the switch under the little cap. If you remove the switch for inspection be careful as some gear oil may leak out.

Paul you shouldn't have to take the switch out to see if it is working just undo the cover disconnect the wires and take an ohms reading with the locker off and locker on. in four wheel drive you should get resistance. At least i think the last time i looked at it i thaught it was. i would not remove it unless it was bad it is a pain to put back on.

To verify the circuit, ground the wire going to the locker switch, if the light illuminates remove the cover and go to the switch. If the light still does not work, go under the truck and stsrt tracing connectons. By the body to tube hydraulic hoses there is a 3 (4x4)or 4 (6x6)wire connector. These get corroded, unplug it and ground each wire one at a time to test the circuit from there.
