Civvy truck paint codes
Civvy truck paint codes
I am looking to repaint the exterior of my 710K in a color from a brochure for civvy Pinz trucks. Haven't decided if it will be the sand beige or the gray. Does anyone have any info on the actual color names and paint codes? Sorry for the pic quality. Searched the forum but found nothing yet.

The dual cab doka looks awesome! I like both colors but I lean towards desert sand

Re: Civvy truck paint codes
If your 710K has its original paint, it may have faded over time. Taking a sample to a paint shop for custom matching is the most accurate method to replicate the current look of your truck, rather than using the original factory code.

You will also need to decide on the appropriate gloss and finish for your paint. Original vehicles often had a lower sheen, semi-gloss, or matte finish rather than a high-gloss automotive clear coat.

Thanks for the replies, guys. As mentioned, I am looking at changing the exterior color from original army green to one of the civvy colors as shown in the Pinzgauer brochure. Now leaning toward the grey. Does anyone know where I can source the original RAL codes for theses colors? I definitely will be using a matte finish.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey guys,
As a follow up, I got the RAL color code from Dale at Haflinger Technik. He is a wealth of information, not to mention a source of spare parts.
I will most likely be going with a semi-gloss at his suggestion.
